"Yes my friend, our town grows with interesting characters." He glanced at the rabbits on the table. He laughed as she wouldn't meet his eyes. "You are fine Nova, nature is a strong thing." He touched her back reassuringly. "Now where is that Hell-beast, Ayradosis has been asking all day!"

"She should be making her way back to the barn now." Nova picked up a knife and took a rabbit and started skinning it. "So, was that guy blind?" she inquired and nodded toward the door after the man she nearly ran into. With deft hands she peeled the skin from the meat and laid a perfectly intact rabbit skin on the counter beside the pot and went to work on removing the meat from the bones. "Rune also said Ayradosis is coming around and now doesn't seem to be nearly as huffy and high maintenance." she smiled and dropped the bits of meat into the seasoned flour then took another rabbit and repeated the process before she went to frying them before adding them to the stew.
Nova realized she was chatty but she couldn't quite help herself considering she just ate and felt pretty good. Looking over her shoulder she took inventory of all the new faces then finally looked at Nicolae. "Wonder what's caused this surge of people?"

"A lot has happened my dearest friend. It seems as though a year has passed since we last spoke." spoke Nicolae softly as he played back the exchange of the blind man. Still fathomed at the comment on spreading his wings, the barkeep felt the familiar itch along his shoulder blades. "Many a new faces around here these days. I am loving every minute of it. I am happy that our small town is growing." He looked deeply at his friend and smiled. "How are my two favorite steeds and my fantastic hellish dream?"

Nova stirred the stew. “We are good. A little tired but that’s life I suppose.” She picked up the skins and a thinner knife and started to flesh out the skins. “Is there a shop around that takes these? It’s a habit and I sorta find it soothing to do.”
She added a few more logs to the fire and wiped her hands clean. “Rune says the cat I found is getting fat. Apparently the rats thought the loft would be a good place to winter over. I still haven’t figured out a name for it yet.” Sighing, Nova looked at her friend. “What’s on the agenda tonight, boss? Work hard, play hard?”

"Tonight Nova, we shall play." Having been cooped up it was time to stretch their legs. Nicolae rubs his abs. "With you around the cat isnt the only thing getting fat. With all these new treats you have been cooking up I have been gorging myself." He playfully nudged Nova. He told her how to get to the tanner and that he would gladly take the pelts off her hands. "Lets say you and I go blow off some steam. I have been dying to spare with someone." He thought of a clearing about a mile past the falls. The horses could run and sprint around to their content.
Leaning close to the fire, Nicolae was mesmerized by the smell of the stew. Nova's cooking had not only impressed him but the townsfolk as well. Business had been booming lately. Not only were people starting to get used to the presence of a vampire, but they were beginning to accept Nova and Rune as a staple of the community.
Nicolae smiled as he organized the thoughts in his head. Peace was found at Mist Falls. Unity as well.

“Now?” She asked quizzically as she scanned the full room. “Place is kinda packed.” Absently she put the pelts in her bag for later and stared at her friend. “I cook like I eat. With passion.” She smiled and continued, “well, with gluttony at any rate. Human food can only go so far so I like to take it as far as it will go.”
Nova nodded to a patron who bellied up to the bar and she pooled some stew into a bread bowl and handed him his food and a tankard of mead.
“I mean I’m game for whatever. Just tell me what to do.”

Nicolae laughed. "Not now of course but soon the crowd will start thinning. Everyone ready for sleep after some stew and a few pints." Nicolae still beamed with glee when he thought of her and having her around. Everything felt right. Watching Nova move in and out of the crowd, smiling with patrons, joking with the regulars, he returned to tending the bar. "Nova tonight we celebrate, for what I do not know, but I feel the need." Nicolae could feel the sparks playing over his skin in excitement. Letting his emotions get the best of him he discharge a spark and it shattered a glass. Silence fell over the tavern leaving the place feel eerie. "I am sorry all, just really happy." Nicolae looked to a cute guy sitting close to him, "Its not often I pop off prematurely."

Nova snort laughed at the guys face when Nicolae made his comment.
“You need laid” she said absently and refilled the mans cup...just in case.
“So where are we going for this celebration? Like a party?” Nova swallowed a lump of anxiety at the thought of mingling with other people. Being behind the bar was one thing, a completely different thing to be treated as an equal. Often times she wondered how sincere the smiles were because from time to time she could still feel eyes watching her while she moved and it made her uncomfortable.
She blinked and came back to reality, “ because I haven’t done a party in a long time. I have nothing to wear. “. Already she was making excuses but she couldn’t help it.
Nova cleaned up the broken glass and tossed it in the trash. “But again it’s up to you. Where you go I follow.”

As I make my way thru the forest and walking into this beautiful town, seeing the sign WELCOME TO MIST FALLS.
Continuing to walk further in the town my stomach is starting to growl, "oh my" laughing to myself I am getting hungry and seeing I am out of supplies I am needing something to eat. I spotted the Falcon Tavern let's hope they have something I can get something to eat, slowly walking in I notice there are several other people here. I shut the door and make my way to an open table, brushing my fur back making myself more presentable. As I sit getting comfy at the table my eyes notice this handsome creature, he looks like and angel but I only heard stories of them and thought they was only stories and not real. I could literally since his warmth from this far away, it was so welcoming and inviting.
Going thru my bag to see what I need to get stocked back up on, noticed that I am completely empty on all supplies. Before I could put my supplies away I was approached.

"That I do my hellish blessing." grinned Nicolae as he noticed the new visitor to the town. "Looks like play will have to wait. We have a new arrival." The barkeep walked over to the table that held one of the most fantastic creatures he had ever noticed. He had seen were-cats of ever variety but this man was different. "Hello friend, Welcome to Falcon Tavern, I am obliged to serve you, I am Nicolae." He let his eyes glimmer. "What tickles your fancy today?"

With the nodding of my head, I'm River Rayne, and before you ask what I am I will tell. I am an a Togorian we are humanoid Kat race from the center of the continent where there are lust jungles. I will take your best recommenced meal and the strongest drink you have. Not knowing that my eyes has been glowing blue, as I speak with Nicolea.

Your hospitality is most welcoming and greatly amazing, I am here looking to make a new start for a new business a protected healer. I am looking for a location that is very close to the falls to build healing spa, I will be using the water from the falls for the pool that will be heated by my runik powers to act like a hot spring which will be able to heal and cure illnesses or any other injuries. I inherited my power from both parents, I even can make potions of every kind for all healing. If you can provide me with any location like this I would love to get started as soon as possible.
Also it can be a place to relax if any one needs to get away.
As well wonderful the food and drink was, you truly have a passion for it.

Nicolae listened intrigued. Thinking for a moment he replied. "There is a empty room attached to the stables. You may use that to start off then we will see about getting you a bigger space. Make Mist Falls your home and visit me for any NEEDS you may have." Nicolae was a flirt, he couldnt help it. "As far as the water from the falls help yourself. You are part of this community now. The falls serve all."

Nova watched the two and giggled. She poured the mead and served the food but let Nicolae tend to the newcomer.
“So,” she asked as he came back around the counter, “what ya think?” She bumped his hip playfully. “He looks pretty cute.” She nodded in the man’s direction.
“I’ll handle the dishes if you got it covered up here?”
